Welcome to Sussex County Pride, the first LGBTQ+ advocacy group in Sussex County, New Jersey! We believe that action on a local level as an important component to empowering members of our community.

Our History
Sussex County Pride began in 2017 as an event run by a women's advocacy organization. When the local chapter dissolved in 2019, Sussex County became its own organization, continuing to bring Pride events to the area, advocate for the community, and foster safe spaces for the queer community.
Pride, Advocacy, Action
Pride is celebrating the community through our annual rallies in June and other social events throughout the rest of the year.
Advocacy is participating in charity drives, shared fundraisers, and supporting other like-minded community organizations to improve Sussex County.
Action is engaging in discourse about our community on a local level, whether it be in politics or local media, and advocating for proclamations recognizing our community, and legislation
